Everything You Need to Know

You’ve Got Questions - I’ve Got Answers

What is your weather policy?

If there is thunder and lightning 60 min before the lesson, the lesson will be cancelled and postponed with no charge. If there is light rain, lessons will continue as there is no safety risk. Please coordinate with Coach Lukas on the day if there are any questions.

What is your cancellation policy?*

1. Coach Lukas’s slots are very limited and under high demand, therefore please notify Coach Lukas 24 hours before the lesson if you are not able to make it, if not, half the lesson fee will be charged.
2. A max of 2 lessons can be cancelled and postponed without any cancelation fees (must be > 24 hours before the lesson) within each lesson cycle (4 lessons). Otherwise, 1 lesson fee will be charged.
3. The make-up lessons must be held within six weeks from the start of the original cycle.
4. Any cancellation fees will be added to the next billing cycle.
5. Rest assured, cancellation fees will be waived for medical, compassionate reasons, planned leave/holidays etc.
6. Please inform Coach Lukas of your future schedule to your best ability. 7. Thank you for your kind understanding.
*Subject to change*. Correct as of 28/01/2020.

Do I need to practice outside of the sessions?

No, practicing outside of lessons is not required. Lukas’ students succeed in improving with their swimming even with 1x weekly sessions. Practice is helpful, but not required.

Will you provide swimming learning equipment?

Yes, everything is provided at the pool except googles, snorkels and nose clips.
Please note the provided equipment is only for use at the lesson’s location. It is recommended to purchase your own kick board, swimming noodle and fins should you want to practice on your own.

Do you provide clients with invoices and receipts?

Yes, each client is provided with a invoice before the start of the new cycle and a receipt upon receipt of payment. It will be sent via WhatsApp or email.

When is your payment deadline?

Payment for each cycle should be made before the first lesson of the cycle, or within a day of receipt of an invoice if it is sent late or updated.
A grace period of 48 hours for late payments will be permitted once. Deliberately not paying for fees and attending classes will not be tolerated. If no payment is received after 30 days and requests to do so, a small claims case will be submitted to the court.

Do you offer other lesson frequencies?

Yes. Please message Coach Lukas for more information.

What is your no show policy?

Any lesson missed without 24 hour notice or not on the basis of medical grounds will be charged at the 1x lesson rate.
